blessing in disguise

Last night I was talking to a friend and I learned this expression that I didn't know about: "blessing in disguise." Like always, as we talk, he uses these English words and idioms, and I really like it. Most of the time, it goes straight to my long-term memory because the way he uses them is magnificent.

We were  chatting about all sorts of things, jumping from one topic to another like we always do. I started telling him a story about something that seemed bad at first but turned out to be great in the end. That's when he dropped "blessing in disguise." I had to pause and ask him what it meant. He explained it so well, and it just clicked.

Honestly, our conversations are like this treasure trove of new phrases and expressions for me. It's like I'm learning English in the most fun way possible. Every time he uses a new idiom, it feels like a little gift. And the best part is, he explains them in such a clear and interesting way that I can’t help but remember them.

So now, “blessing in disguise” is stuck in my head. I’m definitely going to try and use it in our next conversation. It’s amazing how a simple chat with a friend can turn into an unexpected language lesson.

workshop

Hey guys, we are going to have a workshop next week!

The manager said that because I am a creative person, they decided to invite me to the workshop group at the institute to lead one of the sessions. I don’t know why I was chosen, but it is a great opportunity to learn about common errors and how to correct them. I can use this knowledge in my real classes!
Ha ha, it’s all about applying grammar in specific levels.

I'm really excited about this chance. It will be a good way to improve my teaching skills and to share ideas with other teachers. I believe we can learn a lot from each other. The workshop will include various activities and discussions that will help us understand better how to address students' needs and make our classes more effective.  I think this one sounds more formal but any way! It is what it is!
Moreover, I think this experience will be beneficial for my professional development. It's always great to get fresh perspectives and try out new methods in a supportive environment. I'm looking forward to seeing how these new techniques can make learning more engaging for my students.

I hope I can make a positive contribution to the workshop and bring back valuable insights to our team. Let’s make the most of this opportunity and enjoy the process of learning together!

bye for now!
